I want to thank everyone for your love and support during this time. The outpouring of love and prayers has been amazing! As a fellow Ukrainian many of you have been asking me how you can help my family and friends in Ukraine! Finally there is a glimmer of hope that can come from this horrible and tragic ordeal! 🌻
We fundraised to sponsor a Family of 4 to Canada! As you know they left so much behind including some of their family in Ukraine. Although they are restarting their lives in Canada, their hearts will remain in Ukraine. The family has communicated their desire to help give back to their homeland which gave so very much to their family.
Many of us here cannot fathom what it would be like to have your life, family and business taken from you in a moments notice and leave the only thing you have ever known and loved behind, including some of your family, friends, children's playmates, and a business your family has put their blood, sweat and tears into, not to mention your homeland.
This family has now reestablished their new beginnings here in Canada. Therefore I am humbly thanking everyone for their support in helping this family as they are rebuilding the life and family they were forced to leave behind.
