Creating a Legacy Mural is a form of Art Therapy that helps a sick child cope with their difficult situation. Once the lightweight portable Legacy Mural is complete, the mural accompanies a child to treatment facilities, hospital, hospice, or anywhere. The mural provides comfort and warmth in sterile environments. We’ve all seen how uninviting and scary hospitals can be. Imagine being a sick child in this situation. When a child looks at their mural, the child sees their hopes and dreams. They know they are not alone and people like you care about them.
The Legacy Mural represents a celebration of life, a keepsake, and an heirloom to be enjoyed for generations to come.

A portable mural can accompany your child anywhere (home, treatments, hospital, doctor, hospice, etc.) with the goal to provide comfort and hope. A wall mural in a bedroom or family room provides a comforting place for your child to escape and dream.

Your child's Legacy Mural is a reminder that your child is not alone and that people care. Children with a life-threatening illnesses can feel as though their life is over. Jordan's Outter Space Themed Mural
The Outer Space Themed room was designed for an autistic boy named Jordan. You see, Jordan was afraid of the dark. Tay (founder and artist) had to design the bedroom so Jordan felt safe and comfortable, day and night. To stop Jordan’s night terrors, Tay decided that Jordan’s bedroom would glow in the dark.
Tay’s outer space design encompassed the entire bedroom (walls and ceiling). Tay started with a three dimensional moon (6 feet wide). The theme also included planets, the Milky Way, the sun (with solar flares on the surface), and nebula’s (interstellar dust clouds). All details of the mural were based on actual astronomy pictures.
What made this room extraordinary were the effects activated with black lights. When the black lights were turned on, the room glowed. Jordan was whisked into outer space, to drift amongst stars and planets.
This room continues to fill Jordan’s imagination with positive associations and adventure. The room is also a comforting place where Jordan can escape, to reduce the anxiety associated with his disability.
To this day, Jordan’s sleeps peacefully in his bedroom and the night terrors have stopped.
Underwater Theme
Samantha's Underwater Theme
An Under Water Themed room was designed for Samantha because she loves water.
Tay’s Underwater Theme design encompassed the entire bedroom (walls and ceiling). Tay started with a three dimensional coral (3 feet wide). The theme also included palm trees, Sea Turtles, the sun (with refracted light through the water's surface), and clouds which took on various animals when the blacklights turned on at night like a beautiful night light. All details of the mural were based on actual underwater pictures.
What made this room extraordinary were the effects activated with black lights. When the black lights were turned on, the room glowed. Samantha was whisked underwater, to drift among the sea turtles and angelfish.
